Simon! Thank you for clearing this up; it makes sense, Asia's economies being full of entrepreneurial opportunity, but buyer beware on the stock markets! Now that you have cleared this up, what are the specific areas of opportunity that interest you??? I'm ready to get the hell out of here nad find something new to do, maybe I need to use your consulting service to get your advise.

Simon Black- I look f orward to your missives each day; thanks for the recommendation for dr. huang's letter, I picked up 80% in three weeks after I bought it. I've been thinking about the Casey Trend Trader, any insight about that?

Bravo Simon

I have been in and out of Asia for over 20 years. In the 80’s they said it was ending. In 1992 they said it was ending (potential US trade bill).. it 1997 “the Asian meltdown”.. they said it was ending… same old story.. the press who don’t live eat breath Asia, (note, and are paid to write bad news) always say the sky is falling… it isn’t.

It is simple math.

There are 1.4 billion people, they all want better things.

In downtown BJ in 1987, hutongs everywhere.. now skyscrapers worth millions and millions of dollars. There was no such thing as 4th , 5th, 6th ring road… etc…. the BJ airport was a joke

Shanghai… 1991--- looking across the bund… one, repeat one international company.. is was a parts manufacturer from Germany supporting the Shanghai VW JV… now… pictures tell the story.

Try going out to Urumqi.. 1990s’… absolutely nothing…. Now… Sheraton hotel… much better service and quality compared to North American Sheratons…. Good office buildings, service, support, retail, shopping malls (nicer than some malls I saw in Detroit recently)…

Last time I was flying to URQ, sat beside a guy from the Carolinas…he was moving his east coast (China) manufacturing out there… why.. labour in east coast too much (yup,.. they are making real $ in the east)…

The middle class, now in the east of China… buying middle class / Upper Middle class consumables…

Keep the news coming…
