I advised my sons whn they were in college, that the education they are receiving is only one piece of what it takes to get ahead. The other things to know are how you apply your new knowledge, how well you present yourself, hard work and most importantly the quality and number of contacts you develop as you go along. Any tips on the latter would definitely be appreciated.

I am re-reading some of your best articles, like “it's all about who you know”, and I realise that of all your principles, explanations and recommendations, this article contains the essence of what makes you successful. very interesting — I have had a small taste of this as well, but I would love to be able to truly support myself in another country. I taught English for a year in Korea, totally loved it, and met a lot of people. I got jobs as a tutor (high pay) from knowing people who knew someone else who was looking for a tutor. However, since I don't see myself teaching for a career, I returned to the States… but it's just too boring here. What I need is a solid way to make money in other countries. Meeting models sounds fun too!

I would definitely like some enlightenment on this topic. I am a senior at the University of Florida and about to break into the advertising industry. Networking is a substantial building block to success in our industry and while I feel as though I'm 'ok' at it, I would love to get a better understanding of the process and what it entails from someone that that has already had success.

I have signed in for notification on the Panama black paper. I went to Panama a while back to check out the country and at that time tried to open a bank account and apply for the pensionado program. The point is I got nicked out of my money so I say knowing who you can trust is well worth what you are asking for the paper
