Sovereign Research's take:

Dominica is part of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), allowing its citizens to live and work in any other OECS country.
Dominica is an independent island nation situated between Martinique and Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. The island spans only about 800 square kilometers (about 500 square miles) and is home to some 70,000 people.

(It’s not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, a much larger Caribbean nation bordering Haiti.)

Dominica is one of the least developed islands in the Caribbean, which comes with an advantage – its natural environment is pristine.

As a Plan B destination, it could be interesting for two main reasons.

First, it is home to a formal Digital Nomad Visa program, allowing you to live there for an extended period of time without the need to obtain a “proper” residency.

It is also home to a Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program that offers great value, especially for single applicants. Moreover, we are happy to report that you can become Dominican by investment for cheaper than anyone else in the world, thanks to the deep discounts we negotiated for our Total Access members.

If you are considering the Dominica CBI program, you will definitely do yourself a favor by joining Total Access (TA). This discount will either match or exceed the price you pay for TA membership.

(See all applicable prices and available discounts in our interactive CBI calculator.).
