Passport Quality

An "A" passport is an excellent travel document that provides access to the world's most attractive countries. To receive an "A" grade, a passport must have a Travel Freedom score of over 170 and provide mandatory access to the Schengen Area and the US.

How to get this passport

According to our passport ranking, Chile boasts the best travel document of any country in North or South America.

Another positive: Unlike most other “A” graded passports from the list, anyone willing to commit to residency time in the country can obtain a Chilean second citizenship.

It takes five years of total residency to become eligible for naturalization. Several Sovereign Man subscribers who call Chile home are currently going through the naturalization process.

We’ve written numerous times about how to obtain Chilean residency and citizenship. Sovereign Man: Confidential subscribers can review our latest update on how to obtain Chilean residency after the country’s sweeping immigration reform in 2018. (Tip – residency categories popular with our subscribers were not affected.)
