Passport Quality

An "A" passport is an excellent travel document that provides access to the world's most attractive countries. To receive an "A" grade, a passport must have a Travel Freedom score of over 170 and provide mandatory access to the Schengen Area and the US.

How to get this passport

Spain is part of the European Union. With a passport from this country, you can live and work in any of the 27 member-states of the EU. A Spanish passport will serve you very well in your travels - it is one of the best travel documents in the world.

Sovereign Man: Confidential subscribers can review the alert we published on how to apply for a retirement residence visa and non-lucrative residence visa in Spain. The latter works great for an early retiree, online entrepreneur, or digital nomad.

If you have a job, say, in the US and work remotely, you’re eligible to apply for this temporary residence visa.

Keep in mind, however, that Spain – with few exceptions – doesn’t allow dual citizenship.
