Passport Quality

An "A" passport is an excellent travel document that provides access to the world's most attractive countries. To receive an "A" grade, a passport must have a Travel Freedom score (Passport Score) of over 170 and provide mandatory access to the Schengen Area and the US.

How to get this passport

Spain is part of the European Union. With a passport from this country, you can live and work in any of the 27 member-states of the EU. A Spanish passport will serve you very well in your travels - it is one of the best travel documents in the world.

Sovereign Man: Confidential subscribers can review the alert we published on how to apply for a retirement residence visa and non-lucrative residence visa in Spain. The latter works great for an early retiree, online entrepreneur, or digital nomad.

If you have a job, say, in the US and work remotely, you're eligible to apply for this temporary residence visa.

Keep in mind, however, that Spain with few exceptions doesn't allow dual citizenship.
